Steph's Glass is Half Full

Optimistic (and often pessimistic) raves and rants about the many things that can go wrong with an old house, cats who leave me hairballs each day, a job I love but get burned out with and my wonderful husband who I at times, want to hiss at. Also included are my yays and nays about my travels into the world when performing necessary tasks such as grocery shopping, being thrown together with complete strangers, thrown together with strangers and their strangeness.

Frank Walker update

Frank Walker is doing fine after his dental Tuesday. He had four teeth extracted, but with his pain meds. and waking from anesthesia so well, he was able to come home with me a few hours later. Frank was hungry because he hadn't eaten since the previous evening and when I opened the refrigerator, he jumped right in and began to wolf down the ham. Of course he was upset that I pulled him out of the frig. and wouldn't let him enjoy the ham, but eating a large amount after anesthesia is NOT a good idea.

Friday I have to give Mabeline a job performance evaluation. Middle score is 153...Mabeline only has a 91. Filling out the evaluation was tough because negative comments are very depressing, but it was difficult to find positive attributes of Madeline other than she is nice and polite. Wish me luck.
