Steph's Glass is Half Full

Optimistic (and often pessimistic) raves and rants about the many things that can go wrong with an old house, cats who leave me hairballs each day, a job I love but get burned out with and my wonderful husband who I at times, want to hiss at. Also included are my yays and nays about my travels into the world when performing necessary tasks such as grocery shopping, being thrown together with complete strangers, thrown together with strangers and their strangeness.

The Bra is On

The title of this post aroused your curiosity, didn't it? You can admit it. The bra is vinyl, made to stretch across the nose with a tight fit to prevent nicks and rock chips. It's for my car, you sillies!

On another happy note, we received verification that Diego, the dog that bit me, has indeed been vaccinated against rabies. WHEW! I was hoping with all my might that the owner would come through with proof of vaccines. I sure didn't want to endure the shots for the rabies series.

A thumbs up to Diego's owner for finally giving the vaccine information. A thumbs down to him since he probably won't have Diego neutered now knowing he has a "guard dog" to enhance his self imposed macho attitude.
This is my thumb two days after receiving the bite.
Today the thumb looks worse. I'm taking 2000mg Cephalexin each day, but looks like infection might be setting in. Keep your fingers crossed. I need the use of my thumb and really don't want to spend the next weeks without it.
