Steph's Glass is Half Full

Optimistic (and often pessimistic) raves and rants about the many things that can go wrong with an old house, cats who leave me hairballs each day, a job I love but get burned out with and my wonderful husband who I at times, want to hiss at. Also included are my yays and nays about my travels into the world when performing necessary tasks such as grocery shopping, being thrown together with complete strangers, thrown together with strangers and their strangeness.

Going Nuts

This splint needs to come off NOW! I can't hold the animals for blood draws, treatments or simple nail trims at work and I have a very difficult time in grooming trying to hold the dog still while combing out its coat.

My kitten rescue is having a fundraiser sale of arts and crafts in two weeks and I am the crafter, but can't complete many of the items we are selling.

Criminies, I'm typing this blog one-handed. I want my left hand back! And an added bonus of criminies, the nurse who applied the splint wrapped my arm in thin gauze, no cotton padding, which means there really isn't much to absorb moisture. My arm itched like a dickens today so I inserted my fingers under the splint to scratch and pulled out pieces of moist skin. Yuck.
