Steph's Glass is Half Full

Optimistic (and often pessimistic) raves and rants about the many things that can go wrong with an old house, cats who leave me hairballs each day, a job I love but get burned out with and my wonderful husband who I at times, want to hiss at. Also included are my yays and nays about my travels into the world when performing necessary tasks such as grocery shopping, being thrown together with complete strangers, thrown together with strangers and their strangeness.

Worn Out

Working at the clinic six days a week is killing me. Some days I work only 5 or 6 hours, other days 10 hours. I never know how long I work, it depends on the appointment and surgery schedule for the day. What is tiring is getting out of bed so early those six days. I am not a morning person, I'm the night owl unable to sleep until after 1AM. Not good when having to wake up at 6AM.

Also tiring is having to do the job of two when I work with Dora. She is useless, lazy, looks busy but accomplishes nothing. Today she spent 10 minutes on a five second task of folding a surgical drape...five drapes to fold. She spent 50 minutes on a 25 second task.

Dora is the turd you have to poop, but won't come out. An uncomfortable annoying hunk of crap you can't get rid of.
