Yikes! A Vet. Tech?

Ima came in Saturday with one of her Labrador dogs who had been hit by a truck. Thumbalina is her name. The x-rays showed bone fragments in a front leg but no obvious break. X-rays were sent to a specialist for a diagnosis. Thumbalina was sent home on pain mediction and rest until the specialist report came in.

Guess how the dog got hit. Yep, Ima backed over her with the truck. Ima assumed all was okay because Thumbalina ran into the house after the truck drove over her. She didn't even think that the dog ran off in fear despite any injuries she might have had. Ima didn't think about damage to internal organs. She brought Thumbalina in because she was limping several hours after being run over by the truck.

That deserves a huge DUHHH!!!

Ima said Thumbalina is the second dog she has run over. The first was their pet beagle. Just shows that Ima doesn't know where her dogs are and doesn't pay attention when driving. If she can't keep an eye on her own pets, what type of Technician is she going to be caring for other people's pets? And if she doesn't pay attention to something as important as driving, would you want her filling the medication prescriptions for your pet or monitoring a pet while hospitalized?
