Good and Bad
Louden, the last kitten of the litter with Rufus and Martha (who we lost due to illness) is now having a problem balancing on his hind end. He can hold his weight and jump onto my lap, but his rear legs wobble and he sometimes falls over. He has no pain, just wobbly. After blood tests, the Vet. said it could be caused by trauma or one of two diseases. If it's FIP disease, he will only get worse. Louden is currently on antibiotics and we are all hoping he gets better.
Tuesday was a day off for me, but I was called in to work. I was very unhappy about it, but what could I do except go to work and try to make the best of it. My mood wasn't the best, but I hid it except when I glared at Ima trying to get my attention by saying "Yoohoo, yoohoo" instead of using my name. The look on her face when she saw my glare told me she felt the slap I visually gave her.
What's good:
Today was a scheduled day off for me and I didn't get called in to work. Although I did spend several hours doing research for work, I did it at home.
The mama cat and kittens I am fostering...the kittens are old enough now so they are taking a trip to the hospital with me Thursday for their vaccines and deworming. Mama Cat will also be vaccinated since she is no longer nursing the babies. The kittens are 6.5 weeks old and such chunkers, they really received good nourishment from Mama.
What is also good: LIFE!
