Steph's Glass is Half Full

Optimistic (and often pessimistic) raves and rants about the many things that can go wrong with an old house, cats who leave me hairballs each day, a job I love but get burned out with and my wonderful husband who I at times, want to hiss at. Also included are my yays and nays about my travels into the world when performing necessary tasks such as grocery shopping, being thrown together with complete strangers, thrown together with strangers and their strangeness.

Kodak Visits his Vet.

Our cat Kodak was due for his Leukemia and Rabies vaccines and was not happy on the drive to his Vet. Since I worked at the clinic today, Kodak had to stay during my entire shift. Fortunately my shift was only six hours. His frequent loud meows told all of us how dissatisfied he was with being away from home. Kodak's doctor gave him a clean bill of health and he is once again current on his vaccines.

This is our boy Kodak. He is named as such because as a kitten, he gave us many Kodak moments. Too bad they didn't last into adulthood. He is now six years old and is a bully. He has no friends. Poor guy. He is very loving towards humans, but feels cramped when other cats are around. He likes his personal space. Unfortunately, Kodak thinks his personal space is the entire house.

We love our bad boy Kodak deeply. Life would be empty without him. Good thing we love him so much because many humans would have given him away or sent him to a shelter. Kodak has taught me volumes about cat behavior. He's a pest, one I look forward to spending many years with.
