Steph's Glass is Half Full

Optimistic (and often pessimistic) raves and rants about the many things that can go wrong with an old house, cats who leave me hairballs each day, a job I love but get burned out with and my wonderful husband who I at times, want to hiss at. Also included are my yays and nays about my travels into the world when performing necessary tasks such as grocery shopping, being thrown together with complete strangers, thrown together with strangers and their strangeness.

Window Guy

The broken window is fixed. The "professional" who fixed it almost fell off his ladder, tripped over a stepping stone several times and had to move it to prevent tripping over it again and forgot to caulk the top of the window. He stowed all his equipment in his van, cleaned up the mess and presented the work order to Marty for a signature. Marty said, "Shouldn't the window be caulked all around"? Yep, the professional only caulked three sides. Did he forget a window has four sides?

The guy had to haul out his ladder and supplies to caulk the window top. This was a nationwide glass company and just our luck, we get the Duh employee. The optimistic view: the window is replaced and the guy didn't hurt himself.

When things get stressful, have a nourishing snack.
