Marty came home today and is doing okay. He made it up the porch steps just fine with the help of the banister and seems very comfortable reclining on the sofa. The cats have been very good not insisting they lie on his leg.
Last night I learned that my mentor and friend Dale Tibbitts, DVM is gone. He was hunting in Montana, went missing Thursday and was found dead Saturday. His ATV rolled on top of him and he died of head injuries. I can't write much about him because my grief is very deep right now but he was someone I greatly respected and enjoyed having as a friend.
